Winter and Summer Childrens Tech Camps

Learn how to use and manage electrical energy. By creating circuits to power LEGO projects, students learn about electron flow. An understanding of electricity ultimately leads to an appreciation for the atomic nature of objects.

LEGO® Robotics and Minecraft Creative Building

All New Projects for 2018!

Learn about circuits, engineering and robotics as you design LEGO-scale creations with a Minecraft theme.

Circuit-Powered LEGO® Projects: Build a motorized Creeper, Minecraft® Pig, and minecart using LEGO components along with Circuit Cubes electronic blocks and wires. Learn how to place motors, lights, and batteries into your project, and correctly wire them into a working circuit.

LEGO® Robotics: Learn about robotics as you create Minecraft-themed projects using LEGO® components. Build a theme park ride, a mine with a moving spider, and other Minecrafty designs! Create programs with WeDo® and Scratch® software which operate your projects.

Creative Minecraft Skills: In the afternoon, explore Minecraft® in Creative Mode, building projects which teach how to design with redstone circuits. You'll make working doorbells, traps, siren lights, armor equippers, volume measures, and more. We'll master the use of repeaters, delays and comparators in our devices. We'll also make interactive entertainment such as games and water slides. You'll get some new building and strategy knowledge, and do plenty of creative design and engineering!
