Online LEGO Design
and Engineering
2021 Classes

Our online sessions are building workshops where the teachers lead students in design and engineering projects using the LEGO elements they have at home.
Each small group (4-8 students), 1-hr. session involves 1-2 builds daily for a particular theme,
such as outer space missions, city engineering, Minecraft worlds, and more.
Space Engineering Club
Space engineers get ready to build LEGO spacecraft, planetary rovers, robots and aliens!
We’ll even design some favorite Star Wars space fighters and droids.
Kids learn to build within a Zoom small group, interacting with the teacher and each other, getting a chance to show what they built, and talk about their creations. It’s a great social and creative experience for LEGO builders.
Ages 5-8 • Small group (max 8)
Weekly sessions, Week-long camps
LEGO Masters Club
Each week, you’ll have a mystery project to build,
just like the TV show, LEGO Masters.
Our teacher will provide building tips, and then you have 30 minutes to create your masterpiece.
Everyone presents their creation, and the students will privately vote for the project they like the most. The atmosphere is encouraging and fun.
All attendees have a chance to think creatively and share with a community of builders who love LEGOs!
Ages 7-12 • Small group (max 8)
Weekly sessions, Week-long camps

LEGO Imagineering
LEGO® fans - here is your chance to learn how to build a variety of projects including cars, characters, mini-scenes, catapults, animals and more. Each day, we'll get challenges such as create a theme park, animal refuge, skyscraper city, and characters from the Mandalorian and Among Us!
Your teacher will provide building tips and tricks, and guide you with your project. At the end, everyone presents and talks about their creation.
Participants use the LEGOs they have at home.
Ages 5-8 • Small group (max 8)

LEGO Creative Engineers
Take part in creative building adventures with
LEGO® elements. We'll build animals and biomes, outer space settlements, city skyscrapers,
and more using your LEGO supplies at home!
Teachers provide building tips and instructions, guide students with their projects, and moderate as students share their work and ideas in our Zoom small group. We'll learn about structural strength, using details in design, how to liven up designs with slope bricks, and how to add motion to projects. It’s a great social and creative experience for LEGO builders.

LEGO Minecraft Adventures
Recreate your favorite Minecraft worlds and characters using LEGO® elements and your imagination.
We'll start by making Steve or Alex, a minecart,
and a mine with diamonds! Teachers lead students on building adventures to design a Mecha Creeper, Redstone Monstrosity, Chicken, the Ender Dragon and more! Kids learn to build within a Zoom small group, interacting with the teacher and each other, getting a chance to show what they build, and talk about their creations. LEGO Virtual Robotics Coding
Learn the fundamentals of computer science and robotics by programming virtual LEGO EV3 robots to complete missions in colorful 3d worlds.
The missions involve coding the robot's motors, sensors and timers, while using commands, variables, conditional logic, loops and more.
The coding is done with Blockly, a code-block based system similar to Scratch. This allows students to program virtual Lego Mindstorms EV3 robots and see how they respond to their environment.
We'll also program virtual Amazon-warehouse robots to see how coding skills apply to real-world robotics!
Ages 9-13 (Age 8 ok with coding or Scratch skills)
